2003 Portland, OR. Maybe I was influenced by the feel of the Japanese
architecture, the complimenting forms and simple lines, or maybe it
this wall just looked beautiful to me. I found this particular composition
only after "working with it" for 20 or so minutes. The perpetual
rain darkened the path and put a nice shine on the river rocks. Shooting
at this location was one of those times where I was very happy to have
a camera with no electronics whatsoever, as I'm sure something would
have gotten fried in all that moisture. |
